Just another photo I took on our trip down to the harbor. Just thinking about a wayward sea bird taking shelter in this birdhouse makes me feel peaceful.

DIY: Recycled Leather Instax Mini Pouch

Hi all! Today I was happy to have guest posted over at Punk Projects and made a recycled leather Instax Mini Pouch (which I didn't intend, but totally love), go ahead and check it out along with all of the other fantastic green projects to help celebrate Earth Day.

DIY: Modern Triangle Table

I've been envying these photos for sometime now on poppytalk. I recently decided to make my own table but I did it a bit differently, still looking for the perfect thrifted wooden tray though.

If you decide to do this make sure you sand your surface then clean it of any grit before painting. I painted the entire surface in a white gloss ultra cover premium latex paint from Rust-oleum.

Then I used blue painters tape to tape off triangles.

Then I painted in each triangle different shades of grey and black.

 Then I went over the table with a polycrylic to finish it.

I've been busier more than ever lately. I recently had my Graduate school interview and got a second job as a paraprofessional at a school. I've just been trying to get used to the new schedule. I also have some exciting news coming to the blog in a little while.
